A little while back my art class took a day to practice figure or gesture drawing. Gesture drawing is one of my favorite parts of art class, and I was disappointed that we didn't get more time to work on it. But I feel that my sketches turned out well, and thought it might be fun to share them here on my blog. Take a look!
This is really nice! I really like drawing postures because it's so cool, using the little circles for joints and the long ovals for limbs and drawing out the skeletal framework. It just fascinates me a lot!

It is so fascinating! I love figure drawing too- I love all the looseness and just in-the-momentness of it all. It's so fun!

DeleteSecond of all-- do not feel worthless! I want to inspire you! Figure drawing is great because you can start anywhere- get some soft pencils or charcoal and start drawing- I promise you will see improvement. I believe in you ! <3
Incredible! You should try selling artwork. I am sure people would buy!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you so much V! I have thought about it before- I am thinking of starting an Etsy shop as soon as I get some time (maybe over the summer). Thank you so much for your sweet comment <3

Thanks Nicole! Give it a go if you get the chance, it's really fun and loosens you up. Plus, it's super low pressure since it's so flowing. Thanks for your sweet comment <3
DeleteThis work is incredibly gestural and expressive with varying use of line weights which captivates the viewer! I love these!
