My Youtube Channel is finally up and running!

I am so excited to finally launch my very own art Youtube Channel so I can inspire and share with others not only through my blog, but also through a new platform, Youtube. It will change up my blog a little, but don't worry, I'm hoping to keep my presence equal on both my blog and youtube, and combine them in a collaboration. Here's what will happen:

My blog will contain:

-book reviews

-poetry

-short stories

-lifestyle posts

-thoughts

-playlists and mixtapes

-tags

My youtube will contain:

-speedpaints

sketchbook flip-throughs

-art supplies reviews

-studio vlogs/sketching vlogs

So basically, what I'm hoping to do is create a more visual arts oriented space on my Youtube and refine my blog into a more literature/prose focused space, while still keeping around my half-aesthetic life updates and attempts at photography. I invite you to follow both, or, if you prefer one or the other, to follow either my Youtube or blog. It's up to you. I'm so excited to share this adventure with you, as many people have been requesting more art-focused posts, I think this will be a great way to get you that content in it's best format.

Long term, if my Youtube is successful, an online art shop could be a possibility. A lot of you know it's long been my dream to open an Etsy, and I'm thinking that this might get my the publicity I need to make that a reality. Just saying.

Thank you for being patient with me as I worked out all the challenges of this project, I'm so excited to get it up and running. Lot's of love to all of you <3

Trip to LA: Art Museums and New Shoes

Hello readers! I'm just nearing the end of my summer, and I got to spend one of my last few weeks exploring LA. I wanted post some photos and whatnot for all of you to share my trip with you. This first one is the first two days, where I went to LACMA, Third Street Promenade, and the Grove. I also ate at some cute restaurants. Enjoy <3

Sketchbook Work ((New OCs!))

Hey guys!!

So I´ve been doing a lot of sketchbook work lately (as always) and wanted to share some highlights with you. Let me know your favorites as always, and remember how special all you readers are to me <3

I also have a few new OCs (Jade and Oliver and yes Oliver is partly inspired by that mini story you got me) and I'm thinking...comic? Maybe? Still working out their designs a lot though haha. I have to finalize a lot of stuff, it's fun just experimenting with them and playing around. Let me know if you like them :)

My sketchbook and I have become basically inseparable ever since my new semester started. Good friends stick together during tough times I suppose. I've been drawing every spare moment I get, and have been enjoying playing around with markers and pens. I want more Copics!!

Hey friends!

Ok first off

wow it's been two weeks since I posted

and that's embarrassing because I literally just wrote a post about how one of my New Years goals is to be more consistent posting

I always dislike it when bloggers take long hiatuses and then say "sorry it's been so long guys"

anyways yeah school is super annoying right now-- finals are next week and I've overall been a ball of stress so I haven't had time to compile a quality blog post in the last two weeks. Forgive me.

BUT

I do have a sketchbook post for you guys (finally). There's a ton of work since it's been forever, so grab a cup of tea and enjoy. Miss you guys-- good luck on finals for those of you who are also spending your time hunched over study guides. Don't forget to take time to art!
